[the Amy Shen Experiment]

I'm just a girl shooting with an Canon 40D, having as much fun as I can with so little to work with (equipment-wise).

I am entirely infatuated with John C Mayer.

Vantage Point

These days I’m working towards getting my photo minor. & I’m starting to wish I majored in Photography instead of Business—but it’s okay. You can kinda-sorta do anything with a business degree, so I’m at peace (even though I’m beginning to panic because I’m not sure what part of business I want to focus on/concentrate in. But that’s a different story).

Anywho, I’m currently taking a basic digital photography class & decided to put up some pictures that I took for my first assignment called VANTAGE POINT. The object of the assignment was to create the best images using a vantage point that best suits the subject matter. In simpler terms, take pictures of objects/thangs from different angles that make it look more interesting rather than just taking a picture of something straight-on.

I didn’t necessarily love all of them—some of the shots are just “eh” to me. But chyeah. ENJOI.

Broken pieces of plastic.

A flower in a long glass cylinder with clear rocks at the bottom.

An old Shakespearian printer at Cal Poly’s Open House that a bunch of AACFers and EPICers gladly printed multiple bookmarks with. (SO FUN!)

Pool table balls.

The master lock on that connected the chain, the trash can, and the light post.
